As a CMHC Intern, I am driven by the belief that we are the true experts of our lives. My therapeutic approach combines the principles of Existential Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), allowing me to work collaboratively with clients to help them discover their authentic selves while addressing challenges in a practical, solution-focused way. I find deep inspiration in the determination and vulnerability that people show when navigating life’s obstacles, and I’m honored to be a part of their journey toward healing.
What motivates me most as a counselor is seeing people break through their limitations and embrace their strengths. I approach each individual with curiosity and respect, appreciating the unique lenses through which they view their world. I firmly believe that we all have the potential to live more fulfilling, authentic lives and my goal is to help clients tap into that potential.
Outside of counseling, I cherish my time with my children, dog, and cat. I also enjoy spending time outdoors when the weather is warm, reading a good book, or watching a comedy or thought-provoking movie. I believe in balancing life’s responsibilities with moments of joy and relaxation, which are essential for both personal growth and well-being.
